Weddings at Kitley House

Kitley House weddings are available throughout the year, designed to take the stress out of all the organisation by providing a wide range of products and the perfect finishing touches at a competitive price.

Our elegant first-floor State Rooms and Suites are light, spacious and airy, traditionally furnished to complement the architecture of the house. Our Classic rooms are cosily tucked under the eaves. Wherever you sleep, you’ll wake up to delightful views of our country estate and start your day with a wholesome breakfast.

We are licensed to conduct both Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships in Devon. You can marry in one of our lovely rooms or in a spectacular al-fresco setting amidst an unspoilt Devon landscape of rolling pasture and ancient woodland.

Luxury Accommodation

Kitley is an authentic country house, full of character and charm but with no airs and graces. Most of our bedrooms have far-reaching views over the estate or down towards the creek, giving you a real connection with the timeless landscape that makes Kitley so special.

To enhance your Kitley House wedding, our 19 en-suite bedrooms include three large Suites on the first floor; three spacious first-floor State Rooms and an accessible one on the ground floor; and twelve Classic Rooms under the eaves. Each room is equipped with all of the essentials including overnight toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary WiFi.

Our three suites on the first floor – Churchill, Winston and Rodney – are our most spacious rooms with wonderful views over our rural estate.

Host an event at Kitley House

The Banqueting Hall is biggest of our conference suites (140 capacity) is sequestered on the lower ground floor, yet with natural light from high lattice windows. This is a large, adaptable space with its own private bar and dance floor.

The Library is a long room with full-length windows opening onto the Terrace and overlooking the Trout Lake, this splendid, period library has the capacity to seat 100 delegates or guests.

The Regency Room and Morning are smaller with lots of natural daylight offering a very peaceful setting to do business. The perfect retreat venue for executives in Devon.
