Haddo House is a stately home wedding venue in Ellon, 20 minutes drive north of Aberdeen. The Library and Drawing Room can host civil, religious and humanist weddings. Alternatively the beautiful chapel in the grounds is available for religious ceremonies of all Christian denominations.

If you require a larger reception, a marquee can be erected on the Lower Lawn, adjacent to the Canadian Hall.

Chapel: Dating from 1881, the Chapel is available to all Christian denominations. The traditional wooden pews, vibrant stained-glass windows and golden altar make this a very special place to hold your ceremony. Library: A romantic alternative for your civil ceremony. The Library retains its original 19th-century decor, including chandeliers, sweeping drapes and rich cedar and ebony bookcases. Drawing Room: Intimate yet impressive, the Drawing Room is ideal for smaller ceremonies. (Maximum Capacity: 40)
